We are pleased to have hosted hundreds of skilled tradespeople and those seeking to build their own skills over the years at YUNDA. These include: Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, Concreters, Painters, Restorationists, Designers, Engineers and more…
If you are skilled in these (or want to take part in projects so you can learn while doing) — we would welcome hearing from you.
In addition to comfortable accommodation and supportive camaraderie — we offer a live/work environment that we feel is second to none…
- the Noosa Hinterlands are picturesque and filled with friendly neighbours
- there are an abundance of native flora and fauna at our doorstep
- close to the beaches and National Parks of Southeast Queensland
- not far from the city-life of Brisbane and all that it offers
Our “Hosted Homestead Volunteer” roles are tailored to the seasonal demands of our projects (Spring and Autumn being our busiest outdoor working times each year) with Summer and Winter being more planning and design work done indoors (due to rain and/or heat). Make no mistake though — our weather is suitably moderate — with only a few weeks each year of quite cool, a few weeks each year of constant rain, and a few weeks each year with high temperatures.
If you are passionate about sustainable design, resourceful construction, innovative re-purposing, and helping minimise our environmental impact AND like to work with others on projects or placements that will further your skills or enlighten others at ProEco — we would be delighted to hear from you. We’re looking to host either a couple or an individual (expectedly lasting from one and three months each placement) throughout this year and beyond…
